One thing I’ve learned is, hope never runs out. There’s always an answer for everything. For every problem there’s a solution. For every hardship there is ease. For every achievement there’s room for more growth. You can never stay stagnant, stuck, or the like. Even situations you leave alone naturally get undone by itself, have you not noticed? How one day you wake up and realise that person or thing no longer bothers you? Or you suddenly feel inspired to forgive someone from 10 years ago? People miraculously cured by death threatening diseases? Or some stranger you met for the first time gives you a life saving advice you never know you needed, or wanted?
I’ve made my purpose about digging up what these answers are. Because I’m certain hope never runs out. There’s an answer for everything, so, hope never runs out.
One meaning my name holds is “moon”. And I guess I like to show up when it’s dark in people’s lives, even in my own. Any issue anyone has, through the permission of God, I feel I can fix. I’m not hard on people because I think they’re stupid. I’m hard on people because if you tell me you can’t do something and you’re losing hope and then I turn around to you to say, “You know what, you’re absolutely right, you absolutely cannot do this so you have a right to feel hopeless” – what kind of mentor will that make me? There’s no problem that is not fixable. No situation is immovable. No illness that can’t be cured. If we think any way else, we don’t know God.
My job makes your job much easier and makes my growth impeccable, praise be to God. And your growth can be impeccable too. I see where I was and I see a part of myself in some of you. I see where I am and I see myself in all of you. You can achieve great things. You can become a great person. A person you’ll be content taking with you to your grave.
Whether you can afford mentoring or not isn’t the question. The question is, why have you stopped investing in yourself? I am not talking about money. Money is the second step. The first step is hope. Do not give up on the woman you know you can be.
My advice is: never stop hoping. Never stop searching. Never stop believing in yourself. Answers don’t stop coming because God’s abundance is limitless.
